This course is an overview of multiple technologies used in digital communications. Network communication will include LAN and WAN topologies and function along with associated hardware. Network OSI Model and TCP/IP layers will be analyzed including their function, protocols and services. Communication technology and hardware including serial communication, Analog to Digital conversion, modems, multiplexers and modulation waveforms will be examined.
